Frequently asked questions
What counts as one photo?
Any uploaded image — JPEG, PNG, or WebP — counts as one photo. The original file and its auto-generated thumbnail together count as one. RAW files or images over 50 MB count as 5 photos (this is clearly shown at upload time).
What happens when I approach my photo limit?
At 80% a subtle banner appears in your dashboard. At 90% we send a warning email. At 100% new uploads are paused and you're prompted to upgrade — your existing galleries are completely unaffected.
What happens if I cancel?
You get a 90-day full-access grace period. After that, galleries enter a "Paused" state — not deleted. Client links show a contact message. Reactivate anytime and everything restores instantly.
Is my work really safe forever?
Yes. We never delete your photos. Even after cancellation, your files stay in storage. The Legacy Plan ($9/mo) keeps galleries live forever. Archive Forever ($99 one-time) preserves galleries for 5 years.
Can I switch tiers anytime?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades apply at the next billing cycle.
How does the founding rate work?
Join during our launch period and lock in today's founding rate permanently. We will never raise your price as a founding member — even as we add more features.
When is annual billing available?
Annual billing (save ~2 months) is available for all paid plans. Switch to annual anytime from your dashboard — the discount applies immediately on your next billing cycle.
Do photographers pay commission on bookings?
Never. You keep 100% of whatever rate you set. Framd earns from subscriptions only. No percentage cuts, ever.
When are video galleries coming?
Video galleries are Phase 2 — coming soon. Your subscription tier today will include video access when it launches. No plan changes required.
